About the Philippine Green Building Council (PhilGBC) and BERDE
Net Lima is the flagship Pilot Project of BERDE, the main program of the Philippine Green Building Council (PhilGBC), which is the country's sole authority for the World Green Building Council.
BERDE, the acronym of "Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence," will be the nationally accepted and recognized green building rating standard established by the PhilGBC. BERDE promotes the transformation of the design, construction and management methods of the building industry into practices that are ecologically and socially responsible, safe and healthy and a prosperous environment that improves the quality of life. BERDE mainly differs from other existing foreign rating systems by transforming internationally accepted green building practices into a national set of standards that are specifically adapted to the local conditions and environment. As Pilot Project of BERDE, Net Lima leads the standard.
